SASMITA TRIPATHY

SASMITA TRIPATHY, BSc (Honours), LL.B, LL.M is a lawyer and
educator. Her professional experience for more than two decades, involves
issues related to human rights and rights of women, among others. She was
legal counsellor and adviser to Chairperson, Delhi Commission for Women,
New Delhi, India, a statutory body for ensuring welfare of women and redressal
of their grievances related to gender issues. She is a guest faculty at the
Directorate of Training, Union Territory Civil Services Institute, Government of
National Capital Territory of Delhi, India. She is associated with different
national level Non-Governmental Organisations working in areas of gender
justice and conservation. Sasmita appears in national television debates and is
invited for lectures across the country. She is a practicing advocate and
empanelled Amicus Curie in Supreme Court of India.

GITANJALI TRIPATHY,

GITANJALI TRIPATHY, LL.B is an exponent of Indian classical dance,
Odissi, from her childhood. Having learned the dance form under tutelage of
Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, one of its founders, form Odisha, India, she took
efforts to popularise it to the international audience. Widely travelled across the
globe, she has represented the country as Cultural Ambassador in many cities in
Europe and Asia. She is a trainer and mentor for youth for art, academics and
career. She is professionally trained and licenced to practice law in India.
